Tomorrow is the big day. I am strangely calm, when I know I should be excited. Perhaps this is just one giant hoax and i am the victim of everyone's collective laughter...? No, not likely.
RISK on Tuesday was a great time. I enjoyed it quite a bit, after almost a year of no actual RISK Club, I was starting to worry it would never start. Anyways, Vanessa has said she will host a RISK Tournament the last weekend of the month. I sure hope so!
While in Europe, i will be visiting London, England; Paris, France (Including Versailles); Florence, Italy and finally Rome. I am taking lots of pictures and bringing them back. I can't wait to see the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles! I think that might be the highlight of my trip, unless I see the Pope or the Queen.
This past week has been busy and short, seeing as how we had Monday off. Why does every event get stuffed into the shortest month? I want an answer, people! Or why not steal a day from some months with thirty-one days and give those days to February? Give February a break! At least when I get back, there will only be three days left in the week, then it is a long weekend... Again!
In shop, I have tacked the welds for my table. Unfortunately, the tiles do not fit in the frame, meaning I will have to sand them down. Ugh! Hopefully I will avoid doing something horrific and unrepairable to my table, after putting so much effort into it. Could be a problem if I, oh, let's say, accidentally blew out the metal while welding and created a huge hole that needs a lot of time and effort to fill? Oh well, for now those are just fears.
Well, I have to go and pack now. I'll write when I return from Europe and tell all about it!

It's been a long time!
Wow, I haven't posted since before Christmas, mainly because I've been so busy. I've been curling three nights a week, preparing for a drama production, and taking care of my Granny. I am happy to report that she is doing well in the lodge in LANIGAN! They did NOT have to move her to Strasbourg, which is super! Over Christmas, I basically enjoyed myself. We went to Regina on Boxing Day to celebrate the Holiday with family. We took my Granny, which was an exciting event for her.
Since Christmas, Tamara and I have been conspiring to set up a drama production. Whew, is it ever a lot of work! For now it seems on track, though.
RISK has started at school, finally. I never made it to the first meeting, but I will sertainly make it to the one this week. I am going to try and make this a weekly blog now, that way I don't get too far behind.
And lastly, I AM GOING TO EUROPE ON FRIDAY! Wow, it seems a little unreal, but there it is. I am nearly packed and ready to go. We got a new camera for the occasion. I am starting to get nervous about the flight now, seeing as how they've had a lot of problems with Air Canada recently. Oh well, I'm sure it will be safe...
Enjoy the rest of your week, I know I will!
